As our organization enters our 6th year, Plumstead Softball continues to grow.  We have focused heavily on building our rec program and because of that, we have witnessed our players grow and develop.  As they get older, many are looking for higher level softball.

Over the last three years, Plumstead Scream has offered a 12U Suburban Travel team, a 14U C level travel team, a 14U B level travel team and a 16U C/B level travel team.  We are committed to have our travel program work with - not against - our rec program.  Over the past two years we have seen the travel interest grow dramatically and being a newer softball organization, we are taking the "walk first, then run" approach to travel softball.

If players participate in our travel program, we highly encourage them to also play rec.  Any 12U player will be required to play in our rec program (or the rec program of their township) and our players in the 14U and above are expected to play school ball or rec in addition to travel.  We are not looking to take players from other rec programs, but as we grow we hope to attract players looking to try the next level without the big price tag and demanding schedule.  We recognize softball players are busy with school and other extracurricular activities (and we know they love playing with their friends) so we hope if they come try out for Plumstead Scream, they continue to play in rec and VIGS in the Fall and Spring with their current organization.

As we build our travel program, we are committed to do it the right way - with the focus on the players while providing them with the training and coaching to help them succeed.
