Both teams will be registered for USSSA and USA Softball throughout the spring and fall. This is in addition to a number of weekend round robins and double headers scheduled with other local teams. Most travel will be within 60 minutes of Plumsteadville and no more than 90 minutes, other than 1-2 overnight stay tournaments.
Stephanie Horn, from Train around the Horn, will return in the 2026 season to supplement our already strong coaching staffs throughout the season.

About Scream

Plumstead Softball has rapidly grown over the past decade providing competitive softball at all levels and all ages. We have focused heavily on building our rec program and because of that, we have witnessed our players grow and develop. As they get older, many are looking for higher level softball.

Over the last several years, Plumstead Scream has expanded to field multiple teams spanning 12U - 16U. We are committed to have our travel program work with - not against - our rec program. Over the past two years we have seen the travel interest grow dramatically and being a newer softball organization, we are taking the "walk first, then run" approach to travel softball.

Plumstead softball has grown rapidly and competing at high levels at all age groups. We're proud of the tournament championship wins across all of our teams, especially a 14U State Championship victory last Spring! Our teams play in both USSSA and USA Softball tournaments, as well as friendly round robins throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Plumstead softball also provides:

Any 12U player will be required to play in our rec program (or the rec program of their township) and our players in the 14U and above are expected to play school ball or rec in addition to travel. We are not looking to take players from other rec programs, but as we grow we hope to attract players looking to try the next level without the big price tag and overly demanding schedules. We recognize softball players are busy with school and other extracurricular activities (and we know they love playing with their friends), but also desire to play softball at a competitive level, and still have fun while competing!!
